"Fado Vitória is an experience offered by Casa da Guitarra , which presents the essence of Fado in the historic and magical setting of a national monument – the Monastery of São Bento da Vitória, in Porto. This experience is marked by a Fado concert, performed in the Monastery’s sacristy. Before the concert begins, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a guided tour of one of the most beautiful monasteries in Portugal. After the visit, you will be able to enjoy the authenticity of Fado for an hour. Our Fado singer will perform it, accompanied by the Portuguese guitar and the Fado guitar.
But that’s not all! Fado Vitória is an experience that brings you into contact with different cultural elements and Portuguese heritage. Upon arrival, you will be welcomed with a Singeverga liqueur. This liqueur is handcrafted by Benedictine monks. In addition, this delicate liqueur is distilled directly from aromatic plants and spices. Afterwards, during the interval, you will be offered a glass of reserve Port wine.
After an hour full of Fado and lots of emotion, you will also have the opportunity to visit a shop with products produced by monks from Portugal. The experience lasts a total of 80 minutes.
