00:03:53 The Hydraulic Organ Structure
"The Fountain of Fame is the only 17th century organ fountain preserved in Spain and one of only four preserved in the world. Various hydraulic mechanisms were installed in it, the purpose of which was to produce sounds by means of air transmission. In 2006, the Italian professor of Archaeology Leonardo Lombardi restored this hydraulic chamber with a new mechanism, an automatic hydraulic organ that works with the air pressure produced by the water, based on the system that fountains in Italian villas built in the Renaissance and Baroque periods of the 16th century had. The British Rodney Briscoe, who also participated in this restoration, is today the only craftsman capable of restoring the machinery of an organ fountain of these characteristics.

"Every hour on the hour, the Fountain of Fame delights us with two musical pieces, one sacred and one profane. The first is the LXVIII Canto de la Inmaculada Concepción, the second, of longer length, Glosas sobre el Canto Llano. Both pieces were composed in the 17th century by the Sevillian Francisco Correa de Arauxo.
HYDRAULIS: ORIGIN OF HYDRAULIC ORGANS
The hydraulis (also called hydraulus, hydraulos or hidraula), is an ancient wind musical instrument, which worked with a system of receptacles that were filled with water to maintain air pressure. It was the first keyboard instrument, the first hydraulic organ and the predecessor of the current pneumatic organ. Its creation is attributed to the Greek Ctesibius II of Alexandria in the 3rd century BC, using water and air as primary elements.
This engineer wrote the first scientific treatise on compressed air and its elasticity, called Pneumatics. Perhaps this invention should be seen as the result of a long evolution in the manufacture of wind instruments, which had its roots in the culture of ancient Egypt and considered as a Greco-Egyptian invention." - https://tuguiadesevilla.com/la-fuente-de-la-fama-el-organo-hidraulico-del-alcazar-de-sevilla/
